Indexing and Archiving
The Libyan Journal of Food and Nutrition is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that has strived since its inception to achieve rigorous academic publishing standards. It has already begun the indexing process in several specialized scientific databases. The editorial board is working diligently to have the journal included in leading international indexing databases such as DOAJ, once the required number of published issues and research papers is met. The journal is fully committed to the principles of transparency, academic integrity, and best practices in scientific publishing to ensure its acceptance in internationally recognized indexes. The Libyan Journal of Food and Nutrition also emphasizes its complete rejection of dealing with so-called "fake indexes" or any unreliable platforms. Currently, the journal employs effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to ensure its research appears in academic search engines such as Google Scholar, ResearchGate, and others. Long-term archiving:
The Libyan Journal of Food and Nutrition places great importance on the long-term preservation of its published scientific content, recognizing its responsibility to protect the scholarly efforts of authors and reviewers from any potential loss or damage. To this end, the journal is committed to maintaining all data and research articles in a secure and organized manner to ensure continued access over the long term. All electronic copies of accepted articles and their associated files (such as tables and metadata) are archived in a secure internal system with regular backups to an external storage device. The backup and archiving process is carried out weekly to ensure data protection and retrieval when needed.
