Manuscript Preparation
For publication in the journal (and to ensure acceptance of the research), the researcher(s) must adhere to the following requirements:

The research paper should not exceed twenty (20) pages, including the bibliography, figures, tables, and appendices, except in exceptional circumstances as determined by the journal's editorial board.

The research title should not exceed twenty (20) words, including the main and subtitles, and should not be less than five (5) words, ensuring the title accurately reflects the research.

The abstract should not exceed 300 words in Arabic and 350 words in English. The keywords or terms should be between four (4) and seven (7) words.

An English abstract must be included for research papers submitted in Arabic, provided that the translation matches the Arabic abstract. For research papers submitted in English, an Arabic abstract matching the English abstract must be included (including the title, names, and affiliations in both languages).

The research paper should be submitted in Arabic or English, typed using Microsoft Word. For Arabic papers, use 1.5 spaces, Simplified Arabic font, size 14, For English papers, use Times New Roman font, single spaces, size 12. The paper should be printed on A4 paper and sent as an electronic copy (Word file) to the journal's email address. 6. The main title of the research paper should be in bold (16) font, centered. The authors' names should be in bold (14) font, and their affiliations in plain (12) font. For correspondence, please include the email address and phone number, if available, below the abstract.

Main headings should be in bold (14) font, positioned on the right side of the page for Arabic and on the left side for English. Subheadings should be in bold (12) font, positioned on the right side of the page for Arabic and on the left side for English. The research paper should be written in font size 14 for Arabic and 12 for English, using the same font type specified above and with single line spacing.

Only the Harvard or American Psychological Association (APA) style should be used for citing references (in a comprehensive manner, consistent with the style used for all types of references) or for referencing within the research paper. The number of references should not be less than 5 and not more than 30 (and more than 80% of the references must be recent), except in special cases as determined by the journal's editorial board.

Pay attention to the proper and correct use of punctuation marks when writing, such as: The comma (.), semicolon (;), dash (:), exclamation mark (!), dash (-), quotation marks such as ", square brackets [ ], ellipsis (...), and double entendre (=).

Figures and tables should be referenced within the body of the research, preferably placing them immediately after the reference in the text (or at the end of the research after the references, in order). Tables should be organized and placed appropriately, with the text centered within the table cells (the tables should not be shaded, and the text size should not be less than 10 or more than 12 (especially for tables that require changing the page orientation to landscape)). The title at the top of the table should be as follows: Table (1): ......... ). This is to enable the journal's editorial board to produce the journal in a suitable format and control spacing (especially the required page margins).

Charts and graphs should preferably be created using Excel, titled (below each chart only, not within it), numbered, and clearly display the data on the axes. The font size should be no less than 10 and no more than 12 (Figure (...). All figures in the research should have a consistent format and organization.

Conclusion: The conclusion should not exceed 100 words in a single paragraph.

Acknowledgments (optional): Acknowledgements should be given to all those who provided support in the research or writing, whether financial, printing, or through non-essential suggestions. The acknowledgment should not exceed 50 words.

Attachments such as data or terms related to the article may be added. However, these do not alter the meaning or value of the article, but the author deems them a useful addition for the reader.

The responsible researcher must submit a signed letter, including a declaration of no conflict of interest, stating the following:

The article has not been previously published and will not be republished after acceptance for publication in the journal. The article, or any part thereof, may be published with the permission of the Editor-in-Chief.

The article does not infringe upon the rights of others.

Each person named as an author of the article contributed their effort in accordance with the scientific principles of copyright.

Upon acceptance of the research for publication, the researcher(s) must sign a document transferring all intellectual property rights related to the research to the Libyan Journal of Food and Nutrition.

The name and signature on the above points should be included in a separate letter (Conflict of Interest Declaration Form).
