Copyright & Licensing Policies

Authors submitting articles to the Libyan Journal of Food and Nutrition acknowledge the following:

  • The submitted manuscript is their original work and has not been previously published in any form.

  • It is not under consideration for publication in any other journal.

  • All co-authors, if any, have consented to the submission of the manuscript to the Libyan Journal of Food and Nutrition.

  • The authors have obtained all necessary permissions to reuse the copyrighted material. The copyright and publication rights belong to other parties or authors (such as tables, images, or illustrations).

The person signing the publication agreement is the copyright holder of the manuscript, or the legal representative of the institution that owns those rights (if applicable). Once the article is published in the Libyan Journal of Food and Nutrition, the authors retain full copyright to their published research. However, they agree to make their articles available to the public under the terms of the latest Creative Commons CC BY-NC license, which allows the reuse, distribution, and development of the content for non-commercial purposes, provided that the original source (i.e., the Libyan Journal of Food and Nutrition) is explicitly acknowledged.

In addition to the rights granted under this license, the authors of the Libyan Journal of Food and Nutrition and its publisher are granted the right to:

  • Sell published articles in print or electronic collections, available on demand.

  • Submit metadata of the research to all relevant academic databases.

The copyright for the content, design, and logo of the journal's website is exclusively owned by the Libyan Journal of Food and Nutrition – Libyan Society for Food and Nutrition.
