Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the implementation of Quality Management System (QMS) practices ‎within Al-Naseem Food Industries, focusing on five key dimensions: top management commitment, ‎employee empowerment and preparation, organizational structure and responsibilities, productivity and ‎operations, and continuous improvement and risk analysis. A quantitative methodology was employed, ‎with data collected through questionnaires distributed to employees and face-to-face interviews with ‎department managers. The analysis included descriptive statistics (means and standard deviations), the ‎Shapiro–Wilk test for normality, and appropriate non-parametric statistical tests due to the non-normal ‎distribution of the data‏. ‏The results indicated that all dimensions of QMS implementation received ‎positive evaluations from participants, with mean scores ranging from 3.56 to 3.79 on a 5-point Likert ‎scale, and all variables showed statistically significant agreement (p < 0.001). The highest scores were ‎observed in productivity and operations, as well as organizational structure and responsibilities, ‎reflecting the effectiveness of operational management and the clarity of role distribution. The Shapiro–‎Wilk test confirmed that the data for all dimensions were not normally distributed, justifying the use of ‎non-parametric analyses‏. ‏Overall, the findings demonstrate substantial adoption of quality management ‎practices, highlighting strengths in operational efficiency and organizational clarity, while indicating ‎room for improvement in employee empowerment. The study recommends enhancing training programs, ‎strengthening leadership commitment, and further integrating risk analysis into organizational processes. ‎These findings provide a foundation for future research on the effectiveness of QMS, employee ‎engagement, and continuous quality improvement in similar organizational contexts.‎
